AART offers a wide range of accredited training programs tailored for healthcare professionals, including radiologists, technicians, administrators, and emerging leaders. Programs cover clinical skills, management, safety, and continuous professional development.
The Applied Radiology Internship is a structured training program designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and clinical practice. It offers hands-on experience in imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology under expert supervision.
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in or have completed a bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related field.
- Have a minimum GPA of 60% (3/5 or 2.4/4).
- Submit an official internship authorization letter from their college.
- Apply during the official application periods.
- Application Periods:
- 1st Batch: November 1–15
- 2nd Batch: May 1–15
- Internship Seasons:
- 1st Batch: February 1 – July 31
- 2nd Batch: August 1 – January 31
The program duration is either 6 or 12 months, depending on the trainee's academic and institutional requirements.
Interns are expected to commit full-time:
- 5 working days per week
- 9-hour daily shifts (including a 1-hour break)
Interns will gain competencies in:
- Radiological imaging techniques (X-ray, CT, MRI, etc.)
- Patient care and communication
- Radiology workflows and safety
- Interpretation of images
- Ethical and legal practices in radiology
- Research and academic activities
The internship consists of four progressive stages:
- Orientation and Foundation
- Observation and Basic Imaging
- Hands-On Practice
- Advanced Practice (Optional)
Yes. Leave types include:
- Annual Leave: Up to 7 days per 6 months (with approval)
- Sick/Maternity Leave: Up to 90 days per training (with medical documentation “more than 3 day per 6 month need to compensated)
- Emergency Leave: Up to 2 days per 6 months
- Short Absences: Limited to 4 hours per month
All leave must follow proper application procedures and approvals.
No. The internship is an educational and professional development program. It does not offer financial compensation or benefits.
Each intern is assigned:
- A Mentor: For personal and professional development
- A Supervisor: For daily clinical oversight and performance assessment
You may submit an appeal within 7 days of the decision by completing an official appeal form and providing supporting evidence. Appeals should be directed to the Programs Director or designated authority.
This certificate is awarded to interns who:
- Achieve a Final Training Report score of 90% or higher.
- Passing the Structural Oral Examination (SOE).
Excessive or unapproved absences may result in:
- Deduction of training hours
- Delay in internship completion
- Possible termination from the program
