Learning Outcomes
- Describe and explain the necessary information about physics of the vascular ultrasound.
- Identify the normal sonographic apperance of the targeted vessel during ultrasound imaging.
- Increase the participant’s knowledge and skills to better perform vascular ultrasound
examinations. - Describe and demonstrate techniques and protocols for performing an excellent vascular
ultrasound examinations. - Describe and discuss the common pitfalls during performing the vascular ultrasound
examination and how to avoid it. - Identify the sonographic appearance of commonly seen abnormalities of the targeted vessel.
- List the capabilities and limitations of vascular ultrasound imaging.
- Describe and discuss the different types of spectrum.
- Increase the participant knowledge about spectral analysis.
